Using Hoop

Hoop is a birthday invitation app for iPhone, made by the Hoop team in Istanbul. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you're using Hoop on behalf of a child, you confirm you're the parent or guardian.

Credits and subscriptions

Hoop is free to download and try. Generating invitations uses credits, which you can buy as one-off packs or through a subscription — handled entirely through Apple's App Store.

• Credits do not expire as long as your account is active.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel through your Apple ID settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies.

AI-generated content

The invitations you create in Hoop are generated with AI. A few things worth knowing:

• Two different users with similar inputs may occasionally get similar-looking results. The AI is creative, not unique.
• Invitations you create are yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes — share them with family and friends freely.
• AI can occasionally produce unexpected results. If something looks off, regenerate or tell us — we read every report.

Prohibited uses

Please don't use Hoop to:

• Generate content that's harmful, hateful, or involves real children you don't have permission to depict.
• Resell the invitations as a commercial product.
• Reverse engineer or abuse the service (e.g. automated credit farming).

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that do any of the above.

Disclaimers

Hoop is provided as-is. We're a small team and we're working hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it'll be perfect. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from using the app.

Changes to these terms

We'll update these terms occasionally. If we make a material change, we'll let you know through the app or by email before it takes effect.
